Why Isolana Co Supports Pawssion Project

A Partnership for Compassion

At Isolana Co, we believe in fashion with a purpose, and our commitment to supporting animal welfare is at the core of our brand. One of the most impactful partnerships we’ve forged is with Pawssion Project Foundation Inc., a non-profit organization that embodies hope, courage, and relentless compassion for animals in need.

The Birth of Pawssion Project: A Brave Beginning

In October 2018, Malou Perez, founder of Pawssion Project, refused to stand idly by in the face of the heartbreaking reality of animal abuse and neglect in the Philippines. What began as a simple mission to rescue animals from a pound in Bacolod soon grew into a full-scale movement dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of abused, abandoned, and neglected animals.

What makes Pawssion Project so special is its humble yet courageous beginning. With just a few friends and unwavering determination, Malou initiated the rescue of animals in dire need. Her passion sparked a ripple effect, and in just a few short years, Pawssion Project expanded to include a second shelter in Bulacan, all while continuing to spread its message of compassion and responsible pet ownership.

The Impact: 2000+ Rescues and Counting

Since its inception, Pawssion Project has rescued over 2000 animals—dogs and cats who were abused, abandoned, or simply forgotten. Thanks to the organization’s tireless efforts, more than 1000 animals have found new homes where they can live out their days surrounded by love and care.

But the work doesn’t stop there. The number of stray and neglected pets continues to rise, and despite Pawssion Project’s incredible work, the challenges remain. Dogs are still being executed in city pounds, and animals across the country are suffering from neglect. Pawssion Project is fighting to change this reality, but they can’t do it alone.

Why Isolana Co Stands with Pawssion Project

At Isolana Co, we believe that every little action counts when it comes to improving the lives of animals. That’s why we’ve chosen to support Pawssion Project through the Bianca bracelet from our Fashion for Paws Collection. We’ve seen the life-changing impact they’ve made, not just in terms of the number of rescues, but also in raising awareness and promoting responsible pet ownership.

Here’s why we stand behind Pawssion Project:

  • Shared Values: Both Pawssion Project and Isolana Co are committed to fostering kindness and compassion for animals. We believe that fashion can be a vehicle for change, and Pawssion Project exemplifies how one person’s determination can create a ripple effect of goodness.
  • A Proven Track Record: Pawssion Project has achieved remarkable success with over 1000 rehomed animals and two established shelters, one in Bacolod and one in Bulacan. We admire their determination to continue expanding their reach and impact.
  • A Call to Action: Pawssion Project advocates for a better future for animals, but they also recognize that the solution to this problem is collective. Their call to adopt, foster, sponsor, volunteer, donate, or advocate aligns with our vision at Isolana Co: We believe that through collaboration, we can amplify our impact and create long-lasting change.

A Personal Connection: How Pawssion Project Supported Moalboal Animal Welfare

Our partnership with Pawssion Project goes beyond shared values—it’s personal. When Typhoon Odette devastated the Moalboal Dog Rescue shelter, leaving it in ruins, Pawssion Project stepped in to help us rebuild. Through their fundraising efforts, they provided the resources needed to restore the shelter, now known as Moalboal Animal Welfare. Their support in our time of need was invaluable, and today, making them a beneficiary of Isolana Co’s Fashion for Paws Collection is our way of giving back to this incredible organization.

We proudly support Pawssion Project because we believe in their mission to create animal-friendly communities that foster kindness to all living creatures. Their work helps pave the way toward achieving the Five Freedoms for all stray animals: freedom from hunger and thirst, discomfort, pain, injury, disease, fear, and distress, and the freedom to express normal behavior.

Together, we can give hope to animals who need it most. Will you join us in this mission?

    How You Can Help

Even if you’re unable to adopt or foster an animal, there are many ways to get involved with Pawssion Project’s mission:

    • Donate: Monetary contributions help fund rescue operations, medical care, and shelter for rescued animals.
    • Sponsor: Consider sponsoring a specific animal’s care until they find their forever home.
    • Volunteer: Your time is one of the greatest gifts you can offer. Whether it's at one of their shelters or through awareness campaigns, every bit of help matters.
    • Advocate: Spread the word! Let people know about RA8485, the law against animal cruelty, and encourage responsible pet ownership in your community.

At Isolana Co, we believe that through collective action, we can create a better world for animals. Join us and Pawssion Project as we work toward a future filled with compassion, care, and hope for every animal in need.
